Family FunDay 2001

The FunDay was held to raise awareness about the Valley and the Friends. Approx 400 people attended the event and although it is not a fundraising event about £200 was raised for the Valley, especially through the cakes and other refreshments provided by many local people, and the generous donations by those attending.

Activities included...

• Meadow in a pot.
• Bird box making.
• Potters wheel.
• Face painting.
• Making a wishing tree.
• Making wind chimes and wishing sticks.
• Paper plate painting.
• Various exhibits by local groups.

Music was supplied by Illicit Sax, the Loose Change singers and the Jazz and Blues Band.
