About the Green Fair

The Gledhow Valley Green Fair is an annual community celebration of Gledhow Valley Woods and the wonderful neighbourhood it runs through. The fair brings together local organisations, artists, producers, and residents for a day of activities, entertainment, food, and exploration.

Gledhow Valley Road is closed to motor vehicles for the day, creating a safe, relaxed space where the whole community can come together. The fair is free to enter and suitable for all ages — from young families to seasoned woodland-walkers.

The fair is organised by a volunteer committee with support from the Friends of Gledhow Valley Woods. All proceeds help support conservation and community activities in the valley.
