02 Jun 2021 FGVW have been nominated to be part of the brand new Asda Foundation online Green Token Giving scheme through our local Asda store at Killingbeck. Please help us raise money voting for FGVW online at:
Voting runs from Tuesday 1st June until midnight on Saturday 31st July. The cause with the most online votes will receive a £500 donation while second and third place each receive £200. You do not need to register or sign up to anything - you literally just click on the "vote" button. Also, you can vote once every 7 days, so please keep going back and voting for us again! We need all the votes we can get, so your help would be very much appreciated :o)
30 Mar 2021 This month FGVW celebrated its 25th year of helping to protect and enhance Gledhow Valley Woods. With the aid of our volunteers and support from the local community the woods are now almost fully accessible to all, which has hopefully been of particular benefit during the last year of lockdowns. We would like to thank all the volunteers who have helped us over the years so far and everyone who will help us in the years to come.
